Sue Fox Schwartz

Leadership Coach
“Agile transformations and organizational success live in conversation, which makes it a strategic imperative to work on the power skills of communication and interpersonal relationships to enhance productivity.”

As a leadership coach, Sue supports leaders and managers with what she likes to call, “the stuff in the underneath.” While transformation requires a laser-focus on developing strategies, vision, and pivotal actions to actualize outcomes, what happens if a communication style is getting in the way, but no one wants to provide feedback? Or, a leader needs to work through issues that can quickly be remedied within a psychologically safe and/or confidential space? Or, a manager needs to navigate conflict that is impeding progress and optimal performance, but doesn’t know how?

An International Coach Federation (ICF) certified coach, Sue has over 25 years of experience in the corporate world within Global Fortune 500 companies to early-stage startups, both in the U.S. and abroad, and over 20 years of training in transformation work. Her focus includes leadership coaching, development of high-performance teams, employee engagement and communication effectiveness.

Sue more recently served as a leadership and agile coach as part of Thomson Reuters’ Business Agility Center of Excellence for a 12-person leadership team newly reassigned to launch a high growth accelerator business segment. Previously, she spent three years at a talent development company specializing in the design of learning and leadership development initiatives through traditional and experiential media. During a nine year tenure at Nortel Networks, she provided executive-level counsel on employee engagement issues while leading a cross functional global team tasked with identifying transformation strategies. Sue founded Fortifying U and developed its flagship program, Fortifying Fifty, a journey to help individuals create an empowering experience out of the turning-50-years-old milestone.

Sue possesses a BA in International Relations from the University of Michigan, and a MBA from the University of Texas at Austin (UT). A Baltimore native who now lives in Dallas, Sue admits she is addicted to “inspiration.” She is a life-long downhill skier and obsessed with all things Spain.
